New Korg Vintage Stage Pianos SV-1 and SV-1-73

New Yamaha guitalele GL1




GL1 Guitalele Crosses Two Popular Instruments to Create a Unique Playing Experience 




ANAHEIM, Calif.—Now available for the firs time in the United States, the Guitalele is a miniature nylon guitar that looks and sounds like a ukulele, but features six strings and is tuned like a standard guitar up to an A (A/D/G/C/E/A). Chord fingering is the same for any standard-tuned guitar, but now guitarists can easily join the ukulele craze with a portable, playable and thoroughly unique instrument.

New Yamaha guitar acoustic FGX700SC

Balalaika

Balalaika is a kind of traditional musical instruments from Russia in the form of a triangular-shaped guitar. Most of the balalaika had only three strings, but there is also 3 or 4 strings. Balalaika made ​​in six sizes, the largest size must be placed on the ground when played. Origin of this resource is the tribe of Tartars, who lived in central Russia and was popular from the 1700s. EtymologyThe earliest mention of the Word document in a balalaika in Russia in 1688. This word is commonly used in document-language documents from Ukraine in 1717-1732.

Based on a theory, it is estimated that it was brought to Ukraine from Russia. In the literary language, the word first appeared in a poem of V. Maikov "Elysei" in 1771.

Yiruma

Yiruma is the stage name of I Ru-ma (born February 15, 1978), a popular internationally known pianist and composer from South Korea. The name "Yiruma" means "I shall achieve" in Korean.
Yiruma frequently performs at sold-out concerts in Asia, Europe and North America. His Alma Mater King's College in England helped him gain European popularity and recognition. Several of his most popular pieces include, "River Flows in You", "Kiss the Rain", and "May Be". His most popular album First Love was released in 2001.
He began playing the piano at the age of five, and moved to London when he was 11, in 1988, to study at The Purcell School of Music. He possessed dual citizenship of South Korea and the United Kingdom until
2006, when he gave up his UK citizenship to serve in the Navy of South Korea.
